Cainta, Rizal, Philippines — In line with its continued commitment to workplace safety and excellence, Zumicon Coating & Waterproofing Services Co. successfully held a Face-to-Face Mandatory Eight-Hour Safety and Health (MESH) Training session for its newly onboarded personnel.
The in-person training took place at Zumicon’s headquarters, gathering new team members to undergo essential orientation on occupational safety, hazard awareness, and jobsite protocols—key requirements mandated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for all construction-related personnel.

Congratulations to Our New MESH-Certified Participants!
Zumicon proudly congratulates the latest batch of MESH participants who completed the intensive training, equipping them with vital knowledge on:
Personal protective equipment (PPE) standards
Work-at-height safety practices
Safe handling of construction materials
Emergency response and first-aid basics
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) laws and regulations
The company’s management emphasized that safety is a core value and a non-negotiable standard across all projects. This training ensures that both new hires and existing team members are aligned with Zumicon’s mission of delivering high-quality waterproofing services without compromising worker well-being.

“Training is not just a requirement—it’s an investment in people.”
“Safety training is not just about compliance; it’s about protecting lives and empowering our people to work with confidence and responsibility,” said Edcel Puno, General Manager of Zumicon.
Zumicon will continue to conduct MESH and other safety-related programs to maintain its high standards of professionalism, safety, and quality workmanship across all job sites.
